Getting to Mantana: By car & train to South Tyrol

Our directions will take you directly to us, to the Inn hotel Alpenrose.
We are at the entrance to Val Badia and just ten minutes away from Brunico by car or bus. A bus stop is waiting right outside the door and will take you to all your adventures in a flash, both in summer and winter. You just have to climb the mountain yourself.

… by car

via the A22 of the Brennero motorway to the south or from Bolzano to the north >> exit Bressanone/Varna >> continue in the direction of Brunico/Dobbiaco/San Candido >> just before Brunico turn into the entrance towards Val Badia/Alta Badia >> after 2 km turn right to Mantana >> your hotel is in the village centre on the left side.

  • Parking spaces: there are parking spaces directly in front of and behind the hotel. If things get tight on departure days, there is a free public car park just 50 metres away (a two-minute walk).
  • Safe arrival: you can find information about traffic jams, speed cameras, construction sites and more in the South Tyrol traffic reporting centre
… by public transport

not just easy, but travelling by train and bus is also environmentally friendly. Numerous connections take you from Munich/Innsbruck or from Verona via Bolzano to Fortezza. There simply change to the local train line in the direction of Val Pusteria and travel to San Lorenzo. Get out and take the bus (no. 420,3) directly to our hotel. By the way, for everyone who lives in Italy: The train connection from Naples to San Candido is ideal for travelling to us.

Information & Service 

  • Pick up service: we will be happy to pick you up at the train station on request. Please inform us of your arrival time the day before your arrival.
  • Südtirol Transfer: the connecting shuttle will take you from the train station of your choice directly to us and back to the train on the day of departure. This service is subject to a charge and can only be booked online.

the nearest airport is in Bolzano. The Sky Alps airline regularly flies to it from abroad. Outside South Tyrol there are also additional airports: Innsbruck (approx. 110 km), Munich (approx. 310 km), Venice (approx. 210 km), Treviso (approx. 200 km) and Verona (approx. 230 km).
