How far is Wirtshaushotel Alpenrose from the Kronplatz ski area?

The Kronplatz ski area is around ten minutes by car, or six kilometres, away. The free ski bus to the Riscone valley station departs directly in front of the hotel.

Can I buy the ski pass online?

Yes, we recommend buying it at least two days in advance to avoid queuing at the ticket desk. All rates can be found at dolomitisuperski.com.

Is there a ski rental nearby?

Yes, several ski rentals are located directly at the Kronplatz valley stations. The ski schools are based there too: school-kronplatz.com and skischoolbruneck.com.

What winter sports options are there around the hotel?

Kronplatz offers more than 120 kilometres of slopes. Added to that are winter and snowshoe hikes, toboggan runs, ice rinks, cross-country trails and ski tours to quiet summits. We are happy to help you choose.

Are there activities away from the slopes?

Yes: winter walks, snowshoe tours, toboggan runs, ice rinks and cross-country trails. Nearby Brunico is also worth a stroll along its historic main street with cafés and shops.
